Aerosmith toggle bolts are a machine screw (usually mushroom, truss, round, flat, or hex) matched with the correct toggle wing. A toggle bolt goes through a wall and by pressing the wings in. When wings clear the hole they spring back open and prevent the bolt from slipping back out the wall.
