Epoxy and Chemical Anchors
With chemical anchoring, a resin is injected into the hole prior to insertion of the fastener. With this, the chemical fills in all irregularities and therefore makes the hole airtight and water proof, with 100% adhesion. There are multiple formulas of these anchors, so pick one that suits your needs. There are differing formulas based on ambient temperatures, location of the project, and many more factors. Your project engineer can advise you on what to select.
Different size tubes are available to avoid waste. From 10oz tubes that fit in a standard caulking gun to 28 ounce, double barrel high capacity tubes. Other capacities may be available upon request.
To prevent system failure, all excess dust must be blown from the hole prior to filling with epoxy using compressed air.
