Alumi-Flex (Technadrill)
Corrosion-resistant 300 series stainless steel Alumi-Flex® (formerly Technadrill) screws can be used indoors or out in any weather. Their self-drilling points penetrate both aluminum and thin-gauge steel without pre-drilling a pilot hole. (Wood or plastic will require a pilot hole.)
Alumi-Flex® structural drill screws are 300 series (18-8) stainless steel that are used for fastening to aluminum when corrosion resistance and galvanic reaction are a primary concern. Please note that Alumi-Flex® is primarily designed for aluminum to aluminum applications.
