Sleeve anchors are simple to use and are typically used in brick or block. The are available in steel in a wide range of sizes, and some sizes are also available in stainless steel. They can be used in concrete but are not as strong as a wedge anchor. For light to medium holding applications, a sleeve anchor is an appropriate choice. There are several common types of sleeve anchors heads: Hex, Flat, Round, Tie-Wire, and Acorn. Do not use this anchor in overhead applications!
