Self-Clinching Studs
A self clinching stud, also referred to as a press fit stud or a clinch stud, is designed to become a permanent fixture of the part, component, or device onto which it's installed. Usually they are made of steel, but stainless parts are available.
The nibs under the head cause friction with the mating surface and deformation on contact, locking it in place. There are several types available.
If you need the special stainless hurricane shutter version (knurled knock-in studs), we have those too! However, they really aren't exactly clinch studs. It's a closer to being a flat head carriage bolt with a ribbed-neck.
