K-Lock Nuts
K-Lock nut (also called Keps® nuts): K-Lock nuts have an integrated external tooth lock washer (sometimes a conical washer is used), which is movable and free-spinning washer. They lock when the teeth hit the surface and bend. Do not over-tighten it, because once you do, it’s no longer a lock nut, and that tooth washer gets crushed, and the teeth are flat against the surface instead of digging into it.
