Hex Cap Screws
With a washer face under the head and a chamfered tip, hex cap screws are the choice over hex machine bolts in applications requiring tighter tolerances such as tapped-hole machine assemblies. Standard thread length is a minimum of twice the diameter plus 1/4" of an inch. If you need them threaded all the way, that's called a TAP BOLT.
These parts are commonly available in steel (grades 307, 2, 5, 8), stainless, brass, bronze, nylon, and aluminum among others. We can custom fabricate in almost any alloy you need.
