Tinnerman Style Nuts (Flat Type)
Tinnerman(R), or speed nuts, function as lock washers and nuts in one fastener. They work by deforming the nuts as they are tightened, pulling the prongs down onto the thread roots to lock them in place. There are varieties for both machine and tapping thread screws.
