These are Aerosmith blue-coated concrete screw bits. Drill bits with a tungsten carbide tip are the strongest and are the recommended type for hammer drills because they are more efficient and penetrate hard surfaces better and faster.

The tip of a masonry drill bit is larger in diameter than the shaft below allowing the dust created to move freely instead of contributing to the frictional forces. Drilling at a lower speed is more efficient for drilling through concrete, plus it prevents the bit from overheating. These are two cutter straight shank bits (with a tang at the bottom).

Always use compressed air or an air-bulb to blow dust out of a any hole before inserting any fastener into the hole!
