Especially productive when used in steel and aluminum applications, Bi-Flex® fasteners are strong and ductile. They are made of 300 series stainless steel shanks specially fused with a carbon steel drill point, then coated with Stalgard for corrosion resistance and installation efficiency.

Bi-Flex® screws should never be used on pre-painted steel roof sheeting or cladding without a sealing washer. Contact may result in an area of corrosion on the roof sheeting around the screw head. This is metallurgic function caused by interaction between dissimilar metals.

(If using a magnet to check a fastener to see if it's a Bi-Flex® check both the tip which should be magnetic and then the head which should not be magnetic. Don't check the screw on the shank because the fusion point is not readily evident.)
