A193-B7 threaded studs are often cut from rod with a saw. Both ends may be chamfered, but that is not always guaranteed. They are made from A193-B7 steel. If you don't see the size you are looking for, please ask your friendly sales representative. Remember that length tolerances are typically ±1/8" It is much cheaper to buy threaded rods in standard lengths (3' and 6') and cut it yourself if you only want a few pieces of studs. These are almost always raw steel and unplated. We do not recommend plating any hardened parts as it can cause hydrogen embrittlement which will result in fastener failure.
